Dermapen Skin Needling
Dermapen is an automated system that vertically pierces the skin creating micro channels and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, therefore enticing the skins natural growth and healing responses. The channels allow 80% greater absorption of topical nutrients and activate ingredients deeper into the layers of the skin to feed, nourish and repair.
Unlike traditional skin needling rollers, Dermapen causes less trauma and redness making it a safer and more comfortable treatment with little to no downtime.

How many sessions will I need?
Generally a number of treatments required (minimum 3-4 depending on the skin condition being treated. Sessions are generally 4 weeks apart with continuing results for up to 12 months after sessions have concluded.
How will my skin look immediately after?
Your skin may feel tight and dry and appear flushed and slightly swollen (similar to that of having too much sun on your face) this generally lasts for 1-2 days depending on the depth of the treatment. It is very important to use correct skincare products following and sunblock daily on your face is a MUST (we don’t want to undo all our hard work!)
Dermapen is NOT advisable if
- You are pregnant
- Currently using Roaccutane or have done in the last 6 months
- Have highly active acne
- Have cold sores or open wounds ( if you suffer from sold sores it’s advisable to use Zovirax or similar products for 2 weeks before Dermapen treatment)
